Amplex AB has acquired all shares in the Italian company Vibrostop Srl. The sellers are the company’s main owner and Managing Director Giorgio Sarti and two minority shareholders.
Vibrostop was founded in 1936 and has since then operated from Milan, Italy. The company is a leading niche manufacturer of products for vibration damping, such as rubber anti-vibration mounts, spring vibration dampers and wire rope isolators. Sales are made to a wide range of customers in Italy and Southern Europe, of which manufacturers of HVAC equipment are the largest customer group. Vibrostop has 12 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 40 million.
“Vibrostop is a distinctly niche company with a strong offering and high expertise in a clearly defined segment. The company’s products complement our existing product programme in vibration damping well, and also add geographical coverage in Southern Europe. Vibrostop will therefore be a valuable addition to our group of companies,” says Johan Karlsson, Head of Business Area Lighting within the Amplex Group.
