Amplex AB has acquired all the shares in the Danish company GMV A/S. The sellers are the company’s former 50/50 owners Erik Pedersen and Jesper Piihl Faurskov.
GMV has a market-leading position in Denmark within ergonomic material handling. The company offers a wide range of window and glass lifters, electric transport trolleys for building materials and other lifting equipment for industrial use, both as standard products and in the form of specially designed solutions according to customer needs.
GMV operates from Bredsten, just west of Vejle in Denmark. The company was founded in 1988 by Peter Dahl Rasmussen under the name Gadbjerg Maskinværksted. In 2008, ownership was transferred to Erik Pedersen and Jesper Piihl Faurskov, and the company name was changed to GMV. Today, the company has around 40 employees and an annual turnover of around DKK 75 million (around SEK 110 million).

Everyone in GMV will continue in their respective roles after the change of ownership.
