Divestment of remaining automotive business

Amplex sells automotive business in Skåne to Portvakten

Amplex AB has contracted to sell all the shares in BilPartner Skåne AB. The buyer is Fastighets AB Portvakten. The transfer includes the subsidiaries BilPartner Finans AB, BilPartner i Helsingborg AB and Bilaktiebolaget Nilsson i Ängelholm.

BilPartner Skåne is a dealership with a complete service offering for Peugeot, Hyundai, Opel and Honda cars and is also an authorised workshop for SAAB, Subaru and Fiat. Sales are conducted from facilities in Helsingborg and Ängelholm.

Fastighets AB Portvakten owns and operates among other things the car dealerships Fribrocks Bil and Motor Village with facilities in Ängelholm and sales, service and workshops for Citroën, Hyundai, Opel, Peugeot, DS and Aixam licence-free cars.

“This change of ownership gives BilPartner a local strong organisation with a clear focus on car sales. I view this as clearly advantageous for BilPartner’s customers and employees and wish the company every success in its new owner constellation,” says Fredrik Celsing, President and CEO of Amplex AB.

“We have a very positive view of this acquisition which now provides an opportunity to broaden our local presence with an establishment in Helsingborg. The opportunities for favourable development are fantastic through larger volumes but also synergy gains since we already have several of the brands in our portfolio,” says Per-Axel Bengtsson, owner of Portvakten. The transfer takes place on 19 May 2021.
