New business area manager and strengthening of head office

Amplex recruits new manager for the Industrial business area while strengthening its head office

Henrik Johansson has been employed as the head of Amplex’s Industrial business area. He will be a member of the group’s management team and will take up his position on 1 January 2023 at the latest. At the same time, the former business area manager, Glenn Lindqvist, will take up a new position within the parent company Amplex AB with a focus on acquisitions and special projects.

Henrik Johansson is 45 and has a long and successful career behind him with Tranter Inc., a global group which manufactures and sells heat exchangers for industrial and marine applications. Henrik has held a number of leading positions within the Tranter group and been stationed in several countries in Asia, the USA and Europe. Henrik’s most recent assignment was President and CEO of the Tranter-LHE Group with its head office in Texas, USA, a position he held for six years. Henrik received his basic education at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm from where he has an M.Sc. in Engineering.

“Amplex has seen substantial growth in recent years, both organically and through acquisitions. We therefore need to strengthen the parent company in order to meet our high ambitions in terms of supporting our companies in their development while at the same time continuing our acquisition-driven expansion. With Glenn in a new and key role and with Henrik as the new business area manager, we add capacity, experience and competence to the group’s management team,” says Fredrik Celsing, President and CEO of Amplex AB.

“Glenn knows the Amplex group inside and out and going forward, he will be able to concentrate more on work with acquisitions and strategic projects. At the same time, we are bringing in a highly qualified force in Henrik who with his proven ability to lead and develop international operations with excellent results, will be a valuable addition to our group,” concludes Fredrik Celsing.
