Amplex AB has acquired all the shares in the Irish company J.B. Roche (MFG) Ltd. The seller is the company’s founder and Managing Director Ian Nagle and part-owner Eileen Roche.
JB Roche is based in Cork in southern Ireland. Founded by Ian Nagle in 1983, the company initially manufactured tarpaulins for haulage companies and in the late 1990s developed and patented a unique solution for fabric-based air-filled structures for maintenance and repairs. Today, JB Roche has a world-leading position as a supplier of inflatable shelters and hangars for the aviation and defence industries. The products are portable, extremely durable and easy to deploy, giving the company’s customers a safer and more comfortable working environment even in harsh weather and in inaccessible locations without other fixed protection. The company has a turnover of around SEK 50 million and some 20 employees.

All management in JB Roche will continue in their respective roles following the ownership change.
